About Me

My name is Jesse Brown, a graduate of the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University class of 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Design Certificate. I am currently in the Engineering Design Innovation Graduate program at Northwestern University class of 2022. I also play on the varsity football team. I enjoy challenging myself and having fun in the process.

As a designer and engineer, I have an interest in the whole design process. It is fascinating to develop simple ideas or concepts into tangible items that can be practically used. I work well in both group and individual settings.

Playing football for most of my life, I have gained many useful traits. I have been able to use teamwork, leadership, discipline, consistency, decision making, and commitment in my professional and personal lives.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing the bass with my band Foster Revival. I also work in Segal’s Rapid Prototyping Lab where I consult with and print most of the university's 3D printing and scanning needs.
